Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Dr. Rome grew up and still resides in the same neighborhood as many of her current patients near Bluebonnet Dental Care. After obtaining her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University (LSU), Dr. Rome moved to New Orleans to attend the LSU School of Dentistry, where she graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2012. Upon graduation, she spent 3 years practicing in Harahan before returning to Baton Rouge to serve her community. Outside of the office, Dr. Rome enjoys spending time with her family, her husband, and two boys.
Experience
Dr. Rome has volunteered with the New Orleans Dream Center and participated in multiple mission trips with Christ the Healer. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, and the Baton Rouge Dental Association.

Born and raised in Monroe, Dr. Burkhalter is a lifelong resident of Louisiana and has been practicing dentistry for over five years. She is always looking for new continuing education opportunities so she can stay on the leading edge of dental care techniques and technology.
In her personal time, Dr. Burkhalter enjoys do-it-yourself (DIY) projects and crafts, going to the movies, and expressing her faith through church activities and community service.
Experience
Dr. Burkhalter completed advanced dental training during her two-year general practice dental residency at the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. She is also a member of the American Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Gonzales was born and raised in Metairie, Louisiana, and is one of five children. He enjoys spending time with his family and remains close to his parents and siblings. During his time off, Dr. Gonzales enjoys running, bike riding, and reading. He also enjoys traveling and visiting Disney World with his family. He is a lover of all animals and especially loves spoiling his recently adopted tortoiseshell kitten.
